Caroline (Environmental Association 1.3.6)

location map showing Caroline (Environmental Association 1.3.6)

A gently undulating plain derived from indurated dunes with low sand dunes superimposed. Although this association is widely planted to pines, there are several small areas of open forest in the south and one large area of pasture land in the vicinity of Mt. Gambier used for intensive grazing of dairy and beef cattle.

Pine plantations provide the pasture lands with enclosed views. Throughout the rest of the association, detailed forest views can be obtained.
