A gently undulating calcrete plain with frequent easterly trending sand dunes, and depressions. Vegetative cover varies from disturbed or degraded mallee and chenopodioid shrubland to open parkland, all mainly grazed by wool sheep.
In the cleared parts, the views are middleground and foreground panoramas with mallee on dunecrests and other blocks of remnant mallee as local features. The large area of mallee provides detailed enclosed views.
